I am so glad to present this report which contains the wonderful works of the Lord for last two years.  And I present this on the basis of each mission field.

Tharasingh Bavi Thanda Field:
Tharsingh Bavi Thanda is an important place in the ministry of BDT which is a hub for different programs.  The main activity of the BDT is the school program and Compassion assisted project.

The Banjara Baptist High School is one of the important school in the Mandal level having good structures, ground and teaching staff and achieving Mandal first rank since many years in SSC examination and not only the first rank but also with cent percent result.  Many a times the students got cash awards from various organisations for getting mandal rank.   According available information the students who studied in school and enrolled as Compassion sponsored child and excelled in the education as follows:

The present scenario: though school is achieving mandal ranks in SSC and Seventh Class Examinations, the strength is coming down year after year due to demand for English medium education.  People are ready to spend for tuition fee and transportation charges for their kids for the same.  As we are already anticipated these expectations from the parents and community we have applied for permission for English medium school and got the same in the last year itself.  There were expected admissions (around 100) and these children were from distance of 3-5 kms. and parents wanted the school to provide the transportation and willing to pay for the same.

And even parents  were ready to pay the tuition fee as they have faith on our institution.  As we couldn’t provide a regular transportation (our own school bus) the parents withdrew their children from school and admitted them in other schools.  With this experience I sincerely request the Board to explore the possibilities of resources to acquire a school bus of 20 seat capacity so that we could restart the English medium and make this school on par with other private schools and also could raise the money to meet at least the staff salaries. At present there Telugu medium and English medium children are 435 studying with 17 teaching staff and two attainders in the school.  And 14 children are appearing SSC examination and   we are expecting cent percent results. Children are very happy with the new facility which provides the clean and hygienic water.
The Church: I praise God as the Church is slowly growing and the revival is taking place.  The local Pastor Lalu is actively working among the congregation and among the parents. The Pastor and the congregants God willing planning start the construction of the Church building in the place purchased and donated by one of former staff Mr. Deensha Rajkumar.    The congregants are feel they need a place to worship and fellowship and ready to contribute and requested the cooperation and help for the same.  On this regard I request you all to support this congregation in constructing the Church building.  Please uphold this cause in your personal prayers.

This year we re-constructed our heritage shed (first school shed) at Tharasingh Bavi Thanda. the total cost Rs. 61000.00 this fund we generated from local people.
Prayers needs of this field:
  1. School Bus
  2. Completion of compound wall (around 350 mtrs.)
  3. Construction of Church Building

Bothalaparre Thanda Field:
We praise God for this field where we have school project here.  Keeping in view of the demand for the English medium, we have taken the permission from the Governament to start the English medium in the year 2009.  Since then the school has been converted into English medium. At present there are 85 students and three staff teaching from Nursery to IV standard.  On behalf of the BDT Board I express my gratitude to the American Baptist Churches for their contribution of Rs. 394079/- to construct a three room building in addition to the existing building.  The new building was dedicated for the Glory of God by the secretary in the presence of Treasurer and local leaders in 2011.  The new building is great help to the school as it is mandatory requirement by D.E.O for giving the permission.  We have to upgrade the staff and also the number of staff so that we could provide good education to the children.

The Kondapur thanda is another important field of BDT where we have good structures to run school where a school program uses to run till 2009.  The school has been withdrawn due to lack of resources and strict vigil of MEO’s enforcing the government rule of having compulsory recognition or permission.  Since then the school is converted into a Child Development Centre where the children come to the centre after school hours to play and do their homework.  A volunteer with a sum of Rs. 800/- is working at this centre under the After School Club program of Seva Bharat.  We are looking for resources to run this program more effectively so that the children will be benefited in spiritual and educational aspects which ultimately strengthen the local Church.  We express our thanks to the Joyce Meyer Ministries for providing bore well at this place which is a great blessing to the children and the congregation.

Good Shepherd Banjara Hostel -460:
The Compassion assisted project The Good Shepherd Banjara CDC is running with 350 children and 11 members staff. We are so grateful to the Caruna Bal Vikas for their support and encouragement by providing Rs. 117548/- for installing the Water Purifier Plant to the children and the staff.  They also provided Solar power system with a cost of Rs.197224/- which is a great help and relief to the children from power cuts in this examination season.

And two Compassion sponsored children got government jobs and one among them is Guguloth Ramesh who hails from Tharasingh Bavi Thanda  has got employment as Asst. Engineer in CPRI a famous central government research institute at Hyderabad.  Guguloth Ramesh is also selected as successful child of Compassion to represent as Alumni at Bangkok in Compassion Alumni meet in the month of April. This is a great thing that God has done for the children of Tharasingh Bavi Thanda.  There are many other children who are graduated in different courses and working as private employees.  This year 22 students are appearing for SSC examination.

Hope of Life Banjara CDC -447:
The Kesamudram field is the first missionary center visited and blessed by the pioneer missionaries of BDT and the BIM and so much of investment has done on medical work.  But due to non-availability of the Medical Officer the work has come down and center became un-used.  But by the Grace of God as soon as we got the Compassion project here the center became and a ray of Hope for hundreds of children and many communities and the project was named Hope of Life and I am very much sure that this center became a place of Hope in the name of Jesus when the project started in the year 2003 with 50 children and at present there 280 children studying.

The Compassion leaders graciously accepted our request and granted and new project called Child Survival Program which will take care of child from ‘Zero’ age.  This project is started in the year April 2008.  There will 50 mother and child units and as soon as the child grow to the age of four years, the mother will be withdrawn and the child will be transferred to the Child Development Centre.  So far we have departed 41 mothers and transferred 41 children to CDC project.  This program is great blessing to the communities in transforming the communities.  Through this project so far nine mothers and among them spouses of three mothers were also taken baptism.

And four mothers and one mother in-law and one spouse are also getting ready for baptism.  The program provides deeper spiritual nourishment along with other awareness programs which really helping the mothers to a blessing to their families.

Local Church: As the Holy Spirit inspired everyone involved in these programs, all the concerned staff of the CDC, CSP and the local Pastor were decided to host a revival meeting for all the new believers to give them nourishment on Christian life.  It was a great Joy in the Lord to see the believers from CDC, CSP and Church came very enthusiastically and the Church was filled with them and it was the first time that the Church filled with believers.  We see the harvest of the seeds sowed years back and the spread of the kingdom of God. We thank Rev. Hanuma Naik for preaching the word of God on that day. It is decided to have such meetings at least twice in year to nurture these new believers.  We request you all to pray for this Church of God at Kesamudram.  We appreciate the project staff of CSP, CDC and the local pastor for all their good work.

New structure: We thank the parents and friends with the small monies they have contributed since three this structure has come up and this will used for Computer training center.
Prayer Needs of this mission field:
    1. We request you to Pray for the Church and the Pastor
    2.  Completion of compound wall (partial).

New Hope Banjara CDC-446:

Purigutta Thanda is another field which is located at the outskirts of Hanamkonda where we have a Compassion assisted project started in the year 2000.  The BIM has provided funds to construct a building for this purpose.  This project is great blessing to the communities of Banjara, Erukala and Christians around. The grown-up children are actively participating in the Church activities and supporting the local Pastor.  With this the Church is growing day by day and we hope in a couple of years this Church will become one of the biggest congregation in Banjara Convention.  At present there were 195 registered boys and 89 registered girls in this project.  We are so grateful to the Caruna Bal Vikas for their encouragement providing special grants of Rs. 346000 for Employable Computer Training Program and Rs. 176000/- for Employable Tailoring and Manufacturing Unit.  The Computer training is in progress where the elder children are undergoing the training. The Tailoring unit is to be dedicated at an earliest.  This unit will provide training in skill tailoring and find market for these women from educational institutions and private market.

New Hope Banjara Child Survival Program CS-49:

We are so grateful to the Caruna Bal Vikas for their concern for the Banjara people and provided another Child Survival Program which will provide special care to fifty mother and child units in physical, socio-emotional and spiritual aspects of both mother and child.  The signing of agreement has done and the project will come into effect from April 1, we believe that this project will play a key role in the lives of the communities as it was at Kesamudram in spreading the Kingdom of God.
Prayers needs:
  1. Raising of first floor of right side hall as we have small land
  2. Proper guidance in running the manufacturing unit

Potter's Wheel YTC -499:

Let us praise God for He has done great things at this place.  The BDT campus has become a hub of different activities. Apart from the BDT office and the Church, we have a Compassion assisted project known as Potter’s Wheel Youth Transit Center where all college going children are transferred to this project from other projects even from other partner project.  But due to various reasons this YTC has been to phasing out and the Child Development Center is coming in. At present there are around 100 Young Adults on in YTC program that will leave the project on planned completion by the end six month and 180 children in CDC.  The CBV officers have kindly gave permission for 100 new cases in the place of departing children and the forms have been sent for approval. This project is great blessing to the slum communities around the BDT campus and we are sure this project will transform these communities. The project is like an oasis in the desert for these communities.

The CBV has provided a grant of Rs. 215000/- towards purchase of machinery under employable skills training like Industrial Sewing machines, Carpentry machines and tools, Cell phone training instruments, Computers etc.
